Pastor Ruby Carnes was Ordained in October 2008 at the Galilee Baptist Church in Ferncliff, VA.  She joined Mt. Calvary soon after and has faithfully served as an Associate Minister since joining.  She is a retired registered nurse holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was voted interim pastor in September 2020.  She was installed as our Pastor on October 17,  2021.

I bring a gift of vision to God’s people helping them to fall in love with Him in a deeper relationship and commitment.  I have a desire to build on what is present and to enhance the stewardship through continual education and annual class attendance, seeking resources available to enhance the church’s growth spiritually and to utilize the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:16-20.
